When Bill Fox - an active member and a past president of Carolina Chapter #17 as well as a college professor for most of his life - passed on, Carolina Chapter 17 set up the Bill Fox Memorial Scholarship fund. This fund is used to help finance the education of qualified persons in the field of Horology. We have most recently been providing funds to Matt Haldeman for his education at the Rolex School in Lititz, PA. The financial help to Matt was based on his need and his grades. Matt has now graduated from the school in Lititz and has been named Rolex man of the year by Rolex for the Calendar year 2006. The Advisors as well as the whole chapter are proud to have been able to help Matt further his education in the field of Horology.
